Integrating Squire with Zoom:
A Step-By-Step Guide


Welcome to the official integration guide for Squire and Zoom. With this simple guide, you’ll be able to combine the robust functionality of Squire, conversational AI for recruitment, with the power of Zoom’s video conferencing and phone features. By following these straightforward steps, you can seamlessly merge the two platforms, opening up a world of productivity and collaboration possibilities.


  • An active Squire account
  • A stable internet connection
  • NOTE. To use Squire with Zoom Video calls requires either a Pro, Business or Enterprise Zoom account and a user license
  • NOTE. To use Squire with Zoom Phone requires either a Business or Enterprise Zoom account and a Zoom Phone license

Step 1. Setting Up Your Zoom Account

  • Log into your Zoom account.
  • Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  • Search for Squire in the search bar. 
  • Click “Add” which will open up Squire in a new tab.

Step 2. Logging into Squire and Navigating to Integrations

  • If you are not already logged in, you will need to enter your Squire login credentials. 
  • If you do not have a Squire account, sign up for a free trial. 
  • Once logged in, navigate to the “integrations” page which can be found on the left-hand navigation panel.

Step 3. Integrating Zoom with Squire

  • On the integrations page, locate the Zoom application.
  • Click on the Zoom application and hit the “Add to Zoom” button.

  • This will take you to an authorisation page where you’ll need to agree to the permissions required for the integration.

Step 4. Finalising the Integration 

  • After clicking “Agree” to the permissions, you will be redirected back to Squire. 
  • You’ll see a message that confirms the successful integration with Zoom. 

Step 5. Using Squire Functionality in Zoom 

  • Navigate back to your Zoom application.
  • Click on “Apps” and select “Squire” from the list. 
  • You can now start using Squire’s features directly within Zoom. 

Congratulations! You have successfully integrated Squire with Zoom, unlocking a seamless workflow experience. 


Using Squire within Zoom

Once you’ve successfully integrated Squire with Zoom, you can start utilising Squire’s functionality during your Zoom calls. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Squire application within Zoom.
  2. Select a job from the drop-down menu and click ‘Record’.
  3. This action will start recording the call and, if video is enabled, will also activate captions.
  4. The Squire application will display a set of questions that help guide the interview with the candidate.
  5. At the end of the call, the recording and the captions will be automatically sent to Squire for processing.
  6. Squire then generates a summary of the candidate’s interview. If your Squire account is connected to your Applicant Tracking System (ATS), this summary will automatically be linked to the corresponding candidate’s record within your ATS.

This integration ensures that all essential information from your interviews is captured, processed, and neatly organised for further analysis, thereby streamlining your recruitment process.


Removing the Squire App from Zoom

If you wish to disconnect Squire from Zoom, you can do so with these simple steps:

  1. Log into your Zoom account.
  2. Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  3. Click on ‘Manage’ and then ‘Added Apps’.
  4. Here, you will see a list of all the apps integrated with your Zoom account. Locate ‘Squire’.
  5. Click on ‘Squire’ and then click the ‘Remove’ button.

Squire will now be disconnected from your Zoom account.
